Translating diabetes management evidence into practice - supporting new graduates to achieve credentialling and supporting you to build dissemination skills
The Primary Care Diabetes Society of Australia’s (PCDSA) mission is to support primary health care professionals to deliver high-quality clinically effective care to improve the lives of people living with diabetes.
Part of that support involves access to research in a form that can be used in practice, called Knowledge Translation.
The PCDSA are seeking graduates from the Diabetes Education Graduate Certificate Course who would be interested in working with a mentor at the PCDSA to help:
- Translate evidence to practical information for:
- social media; or
- health discipline publications.
- helping PCDSA through events such as webinars (post COVID: conferences).
This will involve working with PCDSA members to develop information in a way that will be readily accessible to the broader primary health care community and will contribute towards CDE credentials.
Duration: negotiable, suggest around 10 weeks
